DAVE BLANEY PLANS TO KEEP MOMENTUM GOING IN THE LONE STAR STATE:
* Coming off an impressive third place finish at Nashville Superspeedway last weekend, Dave Blaney and the No. 10 ABF U-PACK Moving team are heading to Fort Worth with a "Texas-sized" victory on their minds. Currently second in Busch Series point standings, Blaney was close to getting his first taste of victory lane in 2007 in Daytona and Nashville but thinks it will be Texas where the team will finally seal the deal!
* Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) is a mile and a half track that Dave Blaney knows his way around. In Busch Series competition, Blaney has logged four starts at TMS, including one pole and an eighth place finish in 1999. He has also competed in nine Nextel Cup races at the Fort Worth, Texas 1.5-mile tri-oval.
* Blaney and the No. 10 Braun Racing team welcome back sponsor ABF U-PACK Moving for the O'Reilly 300. ABF also sponsored Blaney in California where the No. 10 sat on the pole and finished 10th and in Atlanta where Blaney started and finished 16th.
BLANEY ON RACING AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY:
"We had a really good run last weekend in Nashville. All the Toyota's ran well there and that shows what they're capable of. So far this year Toyota runs well at the intermediate tracks and our team enjoys going to the mile and a half's because we seem to have them figured out. We ran well at California, Las Vegas and Atlanta but didn't have the finishes to show for it at Vegas or Atlanta. I enjoy racing at Texas Motor Speedway and I think this weekend could be the one for this team to shine and bring our ABF Camry to Victory Lane!"
The No. 10 ABF U-PACK Moving team will compete with chassis #27 in this weekend's O'Reilly 300. This is the same car Dave Blaney drove to victory last year at Lowe's Motor Speedway and raced at Las Vegas earlier this season.
