Kasey Kahne on Talladega Superspeedway
"Talladega is a much wider track than Daytona. It provides the drivers with the opportunity to move around on the track into multiple lanes. It is not uncommon to see three and even four wide racing around the entire track. Of course as a driver in a restrictor plate race, your biggest concern is missing the big one. Running in one big pack at that speed if someone makes even a small mistake, it can take out 15 to 20 cars in an instant. However, if you want to win, you can't just ride around at the back all day. The best thing to do is to race your way to the front and try to stay there. It helps to find a good drafting partner to work with to get to the front and stay there. That will be the plan for our No. 6 Ragu® Dodge this weekend.
Kahne will compete with chassis, No. 18, in this weekend's Aaron's 312 in Talladega. This is the same chassis that Paul Wolfe drove in the season opener in Daytona where he qualified third and finished 26th.
Ragu® pasta sauce will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 6 Dodge Charger in this weekend's event.
