ANDRETTI HOPES TO REPEAT DAYTONA SUCCESS AT SECOND SUPERSPEEDWAY EVENT

* The Hershey's Kissables 300 at Daytona International Speedway in February of this year stood to make the #10 one of the surprise teams of the season. Andretti qualified 5th for the event making the #10 the fastest qualifying Ford. After running competitively in the top-10 for much of the race, a tire blew and sent Andretti into the wall. The team finished 34th, a position not indicative of the car's racing power.

* The FreedomRoads team is taking chassis #37 to Talladega. It's the same car Andretti ran in Daytona in February.

* Andretti currently sits fourth in the Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year point standings, just one point behind third place, held by Danny O'Quinn.

* No stranger to drafting in Alabama, Andretti has 20 Nextel Cup starts at Talladega Superspeedway. Andretti captured the pole once and finished in the top-10 four times and completed 86.7% of all the laps possible, leading 48 laps. Andretti's average start on the Talladega 2.66-mile speedway is 22.8 and his average finish is 24.0.

ANDRETTI AT TALLADEGA SUPERSPEEDWAY

Saturday's running of the Aaron's 312 will be Andretti's first start at Talladega Superspeedway in the Busch Series, but he has 20 Nextel Cup starts on the Alabama 2.66-mile tri-oval.

JOHN ANDRETTI ON THE AARON'S 312 AND TALLADEGA

"We had to do some body work on our Daytona car because of what happened but I think everybody needed some body work by the time the checkered flag fell. We're in really good shape for Talladega. We have two really good cars, the car we tested in Daytona and worked on and the car we qualified fifth and ran up front with. I have high expectations for Talladega and this team. It's a bit of a crap shoot with the spoilers like they are but I think we're going to have a really fast race car and should have a really strong race."
