Robby Gordon placed his Robby Gordon Motorsports' Fruit of the Loom Chevrolet into victory circle at Richmond International Raceway to garner his first career Busch series win for himself and his team.

The break of the race for Gordon came when the one-two cars of Casey Atwood and Martin Truex, Jr. brushed in turn three with 14 laps remaining. That allowed Gordon to wheel his No. 55 self-owned Chevy to victory lane.

"The car was tight there at the end," commented Gordon. "Having a bunch of restarts there at the end let me cool off my tires. It's kind of scary that this is our first win, we have been in contention for about four or five of them this year."

Atwood came home second followed by point's leader Truex, Jr., which gave Chevy the sweep of the podium in Friday night's race. It was still a disappointment for Truex, who thought his No. 8 Chevy was in contention for the win.

"I really thought we had it," said Truex. "We just lost it there at the end."

The good finish further secured Truex' lead in Busch series point standings, he now leads Kyle Busch by 105 points. Busch finished fifth in Friday night's event.

Jason Leffler and Mike Bliss close the top five.

Pole sitter Kasey Kahne wound up finishing 9th after leading much of the event. Kahne was the leader through a round of pit stops on lap 153, when Atwood decided to remain on the tack and snatch the lead. Kahne never regained his spot at the front of the pack.
