AFTER BREAKING INTO THE TOP-10 IN THE POINT STANDINGS, LEFFLER LOOKING TO SETTLE THE SCORE AT RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

Leffler broke into the top-10 in the NASCAR Busch Series point standings last weekend with a 24th place finish at California Speedway. He is currently tied with Kenny Wallace for the 10th spot but claims the spot based on finishes.

Leffler has posted two top-five finishes in his last three starts at Richmond's three-quarter mile track. Out of seven total NBS starts, he has two top-five and four top-15 finishes with 75 laps led. In addition, he has started inside the top-five in three of the events.

In the series last stop at Richmond in May, Leffler started from the pole and led 66 laps before an on-track altercation took him out of contention, relegating him to a 24th place finish.

Leffler has one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole at Richmond to his credit. In his only career NCTS start at Richmond in 2002, Leffler started from the pole and went on to finish 12th.

LEFFLER ON RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY:

"With the success our short track program has seen this year, the entire Great Clips team is looking forward to getting back to Richmond this weekend. I have had a good amount of success there in the last couple of years and have had my strongest runs at Richmond in the last three races with this team. We sat on the pole in the spring race, led 66 laps and probably had the most dominant car on the track but contact with another car took us out of contention for the win. We are taking that same car this weekend and are expecting pretty similar results -- qualify up front, lead laps and be there at the end to battle for the win."
