The Busch teams and drivers woke up to rain this morning in Millington, Tennessee, and arrived at a wet Memphis Motorsports Park. The wet weather has continued into the afternoon, delaying the start of today's race.

According to NASCAR officials, the radar does not look promising. At the driver's meeting, the officials announced that they would keep the teams informed during the day of a possible start time.

If the race runs tomorrow, Sunday, Kenny Wallace will not be able to run the Winston Cup race at Martinsville. Geoff Bodine has practiced and qualified the No. 23 Dodge for Wallace and will sit in the car if need be tomorrow.

"My commitment to George deBidart and to this team comes first right now," said Wallace, who qualified the No. 48 Chevy in 29th position. "Even though I'm leaving the team at the end of this year, I wanted to end on a professional note with them."

Greg Biffle will lead the field to the start when it is determined by NASCAR whether to start the race today or tomorrow.

UPDATE: NASCAR officials annouced at 3 pm Central time that the Busch race will be postponed until Sunday. The starting time will be at 11:50 am (12:50 pm EDT).
