REUTIMANN AIMS TO DELIVER AT PHOENIX INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
AVONDALE, AZ (November 8, 2007) - The Aaron's Dream Machine Team travels to Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) for the second time in 2007. It is the next to last race in the NASCAR Busch Series season. While the Aaron's Dream Team is out of contention for the NBS Championship, the team has some goals for the last two races, especially with this Saturday's race at PIR.
"Our goal is to remain second in the NASCAR Busch Series standings and win some more Pole Awards and races," said Reutimann. "The team has really been giving me some great cars lately and I think we can have a solid run this weekend in the Aaron's Dream Machine."
Reutimann and the Aaron's Dream Machine team have had some momentum behind them the last few weeks. Taking a trip to Victory Lane in Memphis Motorsports Park and sitting on the Pole at Texas Motor Speedway last weekend has the team wanting more.
"We are taking the same Aaron's Dream Machine that we went to Victory Lane in Memphis Motorsports Park," said Reutimann. "It feels great to be doing well. We ran well here earlier this season and hope to keep this trend going for the last two races."
Aaron's Honors Team and Special Guests: Aaron's hosted a Victory Lunch for Reutimann and the Aaron's Dream Machine team on Wednesday. Wiley King, the young man who designed the paint scheme on the winning car and family were also in attendance for the lunch. Wiley's design was selected as part of St. Jude Children's Hospital "Design A Dream" contest. Aaron's and the team wanted the opportunity to thank Wiley for his design and support.
Chassis Information: The Michael Waltrip Racing team will be bringing Chassis No. 47. This car brought the team luck in Memphis Motorsports Park and has had solid runs at other tracks this season. Reutimann drove this car to a third-place finish at ORP, a seventh-place finish at the Milwaukee Mile and a 12th-place finish at Phoenix earlier this season.
