NOTES & QUOTES
Kluever is currently 15th in the Busch Series point standings. He has gained eight positions in the last eight weeks. He is now only 24 points out of 13th place.
The No. 06 team will be taking either chassis #RK-217 or RK-349 to Martinsville. The team will decide after the test session on Thursday. RK-349 is the car they ran at New Hampshire last weekend, and RK-217 had not been raced since Phoenix but has been changed drastically since that race.
This will be Kluever's third start at Martinsville. He also ran the two Craftsman Truck Series races there last year and finished second in the fall.
Todd Kluever on Martinsville:
"Martinsville is not one of my favorite tracks because I prefer the banked tracks over the flat ones. I did finish second there in the trucks last year so that made me like it a little bit more. Hopefully we can duplicate a finish close to that this year. It will be interesting to see how the Busch cars handle there versus the trucks. The open test day on Thursday will determine which car we are going to race on Saturday. We're taking two cars to see which one is better. We planned on taking RK-217 which we have not raced since Phoenix, but since then the guys have done a lot of work to the body of the car to make it better. If it turns out we don't like it then we'll run RK-349 which is the car that finished 13th at New Hampshire last weekend."
