CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 19, 2000) - Michael Waltrip and the No. 99 Aaron's Chevrolet team is prepared for another round of Busch Grand National Series action. They will take on Rockingham vying for a win to keep put the Aaron's Dream Machine in victory lane.

Michael Waltrip is no stranger to the Rock. His career best finish at the track in a Busch car is second place and veteran driver Waltrip knows what it takes to win a race.

"Rockingham is notorious for doing a number on tires. Its abrasive surface tends to wear the tires out faster than normal. Look for tire management to play a big part in the race. In Cup we are allowed an unlimited amount of tires for the weekend, that is not the case in the Busch Series. Since we will run a shorter race and have less tires to work with, we will have to watch tire wear and may need to be conservative until its time to make a move for the win.

"I think this should be a good track for us and I hope Rockingham will be kind to us - we are definitely due some good luck. As far as the Busch Series, we are racing to win. With only two more races this year on the circuit, we are running out of time to score a win. I think we can make it happen with the Aaron's Dream Machine.

Bud Pole qualifying for the Sam's Club 200 will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET on Friday October 20. Waltrip will take the green flag for 200 miles at the North Carolina Speedway at 2:00 p.m. ET on October 21. The race will broadcast on TNN and MRN Radio live as the action happens.
