KLUEVER ENJOYS OFF-WEEKEND IN WISCONSIN
CONCORD, N.C. -- Since the NASCAR Busch Series has a weekend off from racing, Todd Kluever is going to make the most of it back home in Wisconsin. A native of Sun Prairie, Wisc., located just outside of Madison, Kluever has plenty to keep him busy this weekend.
"The two biggest things I'm looking forward to while I'm in Wisconsin this weekend are going to the Badgers' football game and my 10-year high school reunion," Kluever said. "That will be a lot of fun and it will give me a chance to catch up with a lot of people I haven't seen since I moved to North Carolina last year."
Growing up near Madison, Kluever has always been a fan of the Wisconsin Badgers. Many of his friends still attend the games at Camp Randall Stadium so Kluever was able to get a ticket for Saturday's game versus San Diego State.
Later that evening Kluever plans to attend his 10-year high school reunion. He graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1996 with a graduating class of over 300. Kluever was not the star athlete in high school, he was too busy racing.
"Probably people will be surprised to see me at the reunion since they didn't see me at most of the school functions when I was in school," Kluever said. "I was always busy racing motorcycles, or in the winter racing snowmobiles. I'll probably only stay at the reunion long enough to see a few of the people I remember. I went to my five-year reunion and that was not too exciting. Hopefully more people will turn out for this one."
Next weekend Kluever returns to racing his No. 06 3M Ford Fusion in the Busch Series at Dover on September 23.
