Busch series driver Kevin Grubb has been suspended indefinitely by NASCAR. The decision was made public Tuesday, after NASCAR found Grubb to be in violation of NASCAR's substance abuse policy.

"NASCAR has zero tolerance for any type of behavior that is in violation of our Substance Abuse Policy," NASCAR President Mike Helton said. "We have a moral responsibility to protect the integrity of our sport."

The suspension will be in affect until Grubb meets the requirements for reinstatement. Last year, fellow Busch series driver, Shane Hmeil was also suspended for violating the substance abuse policy, but was cleared to race before the season-opening event at Daytona.

Grubb, 25, was set to run a select number of Busch series events this season in the No. 35 car as a teammate to Bobby Hamilton, Jr. Last year, Grubb finished 19th in series standings in 2003.
