SCORE Motorsports and Treasure Island Hotel & Casino team up for Sam's Town 300 in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2004) - - SCORE Motorsports, a joint venture between NASCAR driver Hermie Sadler and retired NBA star Bryant Stith, will join forces with Treasure Island Hotel & Casino to run the Sam's Town 300 NASCAR Busch Series race on March 6 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
In addition to carrying the TI colors on the track, the hotel will display a replica of the Treasure Island car in the casino during race week for hotel guests and race fans to view.
Driver Hermie Sadler will hold a meet and greet session with guests and fans from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. pacific on Friday March 5 at MIST in the TI casino. Sadler will sign autographs; take pictures, and conduct a drawing to give away two pit passes for the Sam's Town 300.
The seductive Sirens, those sexy, mystical muses from Treasure Island's newest show, The Sirens of TI, will also be on hand in MIST to sign autographs and take pictures with guests.
"We are proud to represent Treasure Island for this race. To have a name of this magnitude on our car is an honor, and we plan to help make the weekend special for TI and their guests," stated Hermie Sadler. "Not only that, my team and I are looking forward to our stay at TI. It's a fun, fan-friendly place to experience Las Vegas."
"NASCAR week is an exciting time in Las Vegas," said Scott Sibella, President of Treasure Island. "We're thrilled that this year TI will play a big part in the racing excitement, both on and off the track."
Sadler, the 1993 Busch Series Rookie of the Year, has 2 wins, 3 poles, and 44 top 10 finishes to his credit. In three Las Vegas starts, he has qualified fourth, fifth, and nineteenth. His best finish is ninth in 1998.
