Jeff Green takes the Bud Pole at the North Carolina Speedway at 153.335 miles per hour over his brother David who just missed it by 0.004 seconds. Both brothers are used to the competition in the Busch Series but are happy to share the front row at "The Rock".

Both are use to the rivalry and winning. The 2000 Busch champion Jeff drives a Chevy for Richard Childress Racing and David, the 1994 champion, drives a Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports (just took over the seat vacated by Ricky Hendrick).

"Hey, he's taken a few from me through the years," said Jeff. "It's nice to have an all-Green front row. I didn't know how fast I had run. I was told I had the pole and was very close to David's time."

David commented, "We had a good group effort on our air pressure. This is the same car that Ricky (Hendrick) drove here earlier and the set up is basically the same."

Points leader, Greg Biffle did not have a good run and will start in the 16th position while his closest rival, Jason Keller will start just ahead of Biffle in thirteenth.

Last week's winner at Atlanta, Jamie McMurray continued to show his strength with a speed of 153.195 mph to take the third spot. Rounding out the top five were Michael Waltrip and Tony Raines.
