*Kasey Kahne was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in the FUNAI 250 at Richmond International Raceway. Kahne finished 15th and took top finishing rookie honors for the first time this season.

*Riggs maintains a sizable lead in the Raybestos® Rookie standings. He leads Johnny Sauter by 65 points (282-217) entering the MBNA All American Heroes 200 at Dover International Speedway.

*The 2002 Raybestos® Rookie class had a tough night at Richmond. Kahne, Riggs (34th), and Casey Mears (30th) were the only rookies running at the finish of the race. Both Riggs and Mears spent time behind the wall making repairs to their cars after they were both involved in the first yellow of the race. Kerry Earnhardt (27th) and Johnny Sauter (36th) were knocked out of the race due to accidents while Shane Hmiel (28th) parked his car early due to an oil leak.

*No Raybestos® Rookie led a lap at Richmond, the third consecutive race where no first year driver has led a lap. The most recent rookie to lead lap is Scott Riggs at Michigan.

*Mears was the highest qualifying Raybestos® Rookie at Richmond, taking the seventh starting position.

*Riggs has led more miles than any other Raybestos® Rookie this season. In 26 starts, he has led 17 times in 10 races for 461.03 miles.
