CORNELIUS, N.C (September 17, 2007) --David Reutimann and the Aaron's Dream Machine head to "The Monster Mile" this weekend looking for the first win of the season. Reutimann has delivered strong finishes at Dover International Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series where he scored one of two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole awards last season. This weekend, Reutimann expects nothing less in the No. 99 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota Camry NASCAR Busch Series entry fielded by Michael Waltrip Racing.
"I have been successful at Dover in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series," said Reutimann, who has four NASCAR starts at Dover International Speedway. "I collected my sixth career pole there with Darrell Waltrip Motorsports. I've led some laps and finished in the top-five twice. It's nice to go to a track you really like and have performed well at, especially when you've had had tough luck recently. The weekend off has refueled our team and we're dedicated to doing a good job for Aaron's."
Reutimann has one NASCAR Busch Series entry at the one-mile concrete oval earlier this season. The Aaron's Dream Machine finished 15th and looks to improve on that record.
"I favor Dover because it is really fast for its size," Reutimann said. "It has a unique shape and I think that's why I like it so much. It should be a good track for us. We ran into some bad luck there earlier this season, but I know our team is capable of a solid top-five finish this weekend."
In addition to a solid finish, Reutimann hopes to regain the second position in the NBS point standings.
"Our current goal is to finish top-three in the point standings," said Reutimann, who is currently tied for second with Harvick. "We owe it to ourselves and our sponsor, Aaron's. Being my first full-season in the NASCAR Busch Series, and the first year for Michael Waltrip Racing and Toyota, to finish in the top-three is outstanding. Aaron's deserves to be sitting high up at the awards banquet this year, I want to give that to them."
Live coverage of the NASCAR Busch Series Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, September 22nd begins at 3:00 p.m. EDT on ESPN2 and MRN.
