A FIFTH PLACE FINISH IS GOOD FOR YOU TODAY. "Yea, we ran a lot better today than we ran yesterday, for sure. The crew and guys did a great job on the car. We had more cords than rubber there at the end and couldn't hold on for any better position. But fifth finish is a good finish to how today and yesterday went."
ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT THERE WAS MUCH RUBBER LAID OUT ON THE RACE TRACK FROM THE TRUCK RACE AND THE BUSCH RACE AND QUALIFYING AND PRACTICE. IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS NOT AS MUCH RUBBER ON THE RACE TRACK AS YOU ARE USED TO. "I don't know. I don't get the whole tire thing. There must not be much on the tires, because mine don't have any on them, they're all cords. All I know is that all my tires' rubber is out there, but I don't know. It's not all packed in for some reason. The track is in great shape."

WHAT DID YOU SEE? WHAT HAPPENED? "I put ourselves in a bad position by speeding on pit road and we had a lot better car than where we were running at. I was just being aggressive trying to pick-up a few spots on the race track. I didn't realize -- they were wrecking in front of me and I thought they were checking out, so I'd pick up some spots and I was just being too aggressive."
STEPHEN LEICHT -- No. 90 citifinancial Ford Fusion
WHAT HAPPENED? "Well, I really don't know. We just got the restart and the lap cars were next to us. The 66 and 7 car got together, then the 7 started to spin out all the way down the frontstretch. Then from what I can tell is that everyone slowed down and out of nowhere somebody came in there wide open and got into everybody. I don't know what that is all about. I feel bad because the citifinacial team has done a great job this weekend. The car was fast; we struggled a little bit in the early part of the race and in the last run we were up to like 13th and the car was feeling good. We were just sitting there riding along and waiting until the end; it's a shame we had to go out like that."

"Some cars got together in front of us coming off of turn four. I thought I had them cleared. I barely touched him with a little bit my left front fender and I went to go by and someone hit me from the back and we got turned around. I know the 18 car was in front of me, but I'm not sure who was behind and hit me. It's hard to see what's going on behind you plus watch a wreck unfold in front of you. It's a shame for the us to end today this way."

"We had a good day. It was a fast race car. We were a little off in the beginning so we made some adjustments and got it to where it was pretty good. I'm pretty happy with it and the lap times. We had radio problems; I could hear them, they couldn't hear me. We lost a lap on pit road because we were trying to fix the radio. That's kind of the end of the day there because then we got a lap down, I didn't even know we were a lap down because we weren't able to communicate that well. I'm glad I had the opportunity but we didn't have it all together. If we didn't have radio problems, we could have stayed up there in the top-15 and had a solid run."
HOW DO YOU LIKE BEING IN TWO RACES THIS WEEKEND? "We need to do it more often. It was pretty good. We've been taking a little bit from each series and learning from both of them. I'm lucky to have run in a great car for a great team. I hope to be able to do it again soon."
