ON QUALIFYING AS THE TOP FORD DRIVER AND TOP ROOKIE. "This is fantastic for us. We are a new team and relatively new to working together. This is a really tough track; I found it really hard last year to drive it. I think I'm making huge in-roads here in this sport. I'm just really pleased to be here and represent Ford and my team. We are very happy where we are on the starting grid."

TRAVIS KVAPIL -- No. 47 Clorox Ford Fusion -- (qualified 20th)

HOW WAS YOUR FIRST QUALIFYING RUN IN THE BUSCH SERIES THIS YEAR? "I really didn't have a clue on what I was getting myself into. I haven't driven a Busch car in a couple of years. Fortunately one of the best, Mark Martin, drove it yesterday and said it was a pretty decent. The qualifying laps were my first laps in the Ford Fusion this weekend. I felt like I took it fairly conservative. It didn't feel that fast, so I'm glad. We had two solid laps. We just need to keep it out of trouble later today, just a solid run and pit stops, that something we can certainly do. We're not here to win the race. I think we probably could do it, if we had more time to on it. I'm just proud to have the opportunity and just keep it out of trouble all day and have a solid run."

DID THE TRUCK RACE YESTERDAY HELP YOU IN QUALIFYING TODAY? DOES IT HELP YOUR CONFIDENCE? "Yes, I guess so. I know where to be on the race track more than anything. We actually sat down and compared set-ups last night and they are really close to where we had our F-150, so I'm really confident in that."

SCOTT ZIPADELLI -- Crew Chief - No. 47

HOW DOES JON FEEL? "I talked to him several times Friday and he feels miserable. He's got a headache. All of this really hasn't been too difficult. It's what we do best -- scramble. This isn't the place you want to run in the heat when you're not feeling well. It's hard enough when you feel good. Jon will be fine. He's feeling better."

WHAT'S THE PLAN WITH TRAVIS? "Our plan with Travis is to get through today and move onto Nashville. The first lap Travis had in the car was in qualifying, so we're going to take it easy in the race until he gets comfortable."
