KASEY KAHNE QUOTES:

"I'm looking forward to going back to Daytona. It's always cool to race at night under the lights. It's hard to really prepare for Daytona. You just need a good car in the draft and hope for the best. Our goal is to stay out of trouble and finish the race."

TRIP BRUCE QUOTES:

"The team has done a great job rebuilding this Ragu Dodge for Kasey. Daytona has always been known as the restrictor plate track that you must handle well on. We are willing to sacrifice a little speed in qualifying to make sure our car will keep turning good as the tires wear down. The car was very close in the race in Feb. but still needed to turn better, with several more tweeks to the new body and the chassis set up, I feel like this team has a great chance to win the race."

QUICK FACTS

Kahne will drive chassis B18 this weekend, which is the same Dodge he drove in the season-opening race at Daytona. With it, he took the lead early on and stayed in the top-three for the majority of the race, exchanging the lead several times. However, he was caught up in someone else's wreck, with less than 25 laps to go.

This will be Kahne's ninth race in the No. 9 Ultimate Chargers Dodge Charger this season, and he has led 129 laps this season in NASCAR Busch Series competition.

In Kahne's most recent Busch race, his strong Wisk Dodge was held two laps down after a caution flew during green-flag stops.
