David Green brought home his 20th career Busch series pole today, posting a lap of 154.429 mph at Rockingham. Green's lap pushed Jamie McMurray out of the top spot to gain Green the number one position. McMurray won the race at Rockingham last November.

"I like running with these boys and working with everyone on the crew," said Green. "Without a doubt, Rockingham is one of my favorite tracks. It's tough and challenging, but I've always liked racing at 'The Rock.' "

Scott Riggs was third, Kasey Kahne fourth.

Kahne posts the best start of his career coming off his best career finish last weekend in Daytona. He was fastest in practice, until rain cut the session short.

"I wasn't very surprised we were fast," said Kahne. "These guys have prepared me great cars everywhere we've tested so far. I probably have more laps here than anywhere else. Having a fast race car helps, too."

Rolling off fifth will be Jason Keller. Keller, who is still recovering from a fiery crash at Daytona last weekend, proved he is fit and ready to race, though still feeling a little under the weather.

"I'd by lying if I said I was 100 percent," Keller said. "Sometimes you have to play hurt, and this will be a couple of weeks where I have to play hurt."

The Busch series will look to squeeze in the Rockingham 200 with an 80% chance of rain forecasted for the area.
