Scotts WinterGuard Fertilizer to Sponsor David Ragan, No. 6 Ford This Weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway

CONCORD, N.C..- Roush Racing announced today that Scotts WinterGuard Fertilizer will sponsor the No. 6 Roush Racing Ford Fusion of David Ragan in this weekend's NASCAR Busch Series race at Lowe's Motor Speedway. It will be Ragan's third Busch start of 2006, and his first in the No. 6.

"We're thrilled David Ragan is racing the Scotts Winterguard Ford in Charlotte," said Jeff Keyser, Vice President, Scotts Marketing. "Hopefully David and the No. 6 Team can celebrate on the Scotts Lawn in Victory Lane at Lowe's Motor Speedway."

Ragan will make his first NASCAR Busch Series start at Lowe's Motor Speedway this weekend, but he is no stranger to competition at the track. Ragan competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Lowe's in May, where he started 12th and finished 25th after getting caught up in an incident on only the second lap of the race.

"I am really looking forward to heading back to Lowe's Motor Speedway and picking up where we left off in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race here earlier in the year," Ragan said. "We qualified 11th and looked like we were going to have a good run going but got caught up in some trouble early on and were forced to deal with that all night. It's going to be a great opportunity to work with Mike Beam again, it seems like the last few weeks we've been racing against him and the No. 6 crew, trying to beat them out. I look forward to having a strong run Friday night in the No. 6 Scotts WinterGuard Fertilizer Ford Fusion."
