Back in 1998
Buckshot led the race for 43 laps at Gateway International Raceway and with 25 laps remaining an oil line came loose that relegated Buckshot to a 31st-place finish. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. went on to eventually win the race and the 1998 NASCAR Busch Series Championship.
Last Weekend at Pikes Peak
Buckshot Jones and the Buckshot Racing team experienced there best qualifying effort (12th) since New Hampshire in May, where they qualified second. The team also put together a solid run, finishing 19th. Saturday's finish was the best for Buckshot and company since Charlotte in May (17th).
