Jason Keller Quotes:
Striving For His First Top Five... Keller has yet to capture a top-five finish at Michigan International Speedway. The Albertsons team has been on a roll and it looks like their luck at Michigan may change this weekend for the Cabela's 250.
"Michigan has been my Achilles heel," said Keller. "Last year is the first race I have ever run well at Michigan. I just can't seem to figure the place out. Harold (Holly) and the No. 10 guys tested there last week and learned some things that will benefit both teams, so I'm pretty optimistic about this weekend. We finished fifth at California earlier this year and that track is very similar to Michigan. We've also got momentum on our side. We have run extremely well the past six races, so I'm looking forward to getting back out on the track."
The Countdown To The Championship... Keller is closer to his first NASCAR Busch Series championship than he has ever been in his eight years on the circuit. He is just 82 points out of the lead with 12 races to go.
"Right now I look forward to each and every race," Keller said. "We are still in this title run. If we want to remain in the championship chase, we need to stay consistent and continue to race smart. We're in the bottom third of the season and can't afford to make mental errors. The guys have given me everything they have preparing these race cars, and they have been fantastic. I know that I have a shot at the win every week in my Albertsons Ford and that is what it will take to win the championship. Biffle is not going to let up, we just need to continue what we are doing and focus on each race.
