Brewco Motorsports, Kimberly-Clark Announce Contract Extension
Two-year agreement for primary Busch Series sponsorship
Central City, KY (September 12, 2007) ... Brewco Motorsports Inc. announced today that Kimberly-Clark has signed a two-year contract extension to be the primary sponsor of their #27 Ford Fusions in the NASCAR Busch Series. The extension will continue the relationship that began in 2004 between Brewco Motorsports Inc. and Kimberly-Clark.
"The relationship we have with Brewco Motorsports is highly valued at Kimberly-Clark," Ted Lueders, Director of Customer Marketing stated. "Since partnering with Brewco in 2004, the sponsorship has evolved into a valuable asset for growing our brands such as Kleenex0x00ae as well as providing a powerful marketing platform for our retail partners. Over the next two years, we look forward to working with the Brewco team to explore new and creative ways to drive success."
Kimberly-Clark is currently the longest continuous primary sponsor in the NASCAR Busch Series. Beginning in 1995, Kimberly-Clark has earned ten wins and fifteen pole awards during their thirteen years of Busch Series competition. Since joining forces with Brewco Motorsports Inc. in 2004, the team has one win and one pole.
"Key to our decision to renew our partnership with Brewco was a consistent delivery of solid results for Kimberly-Clark both on and off the track," Jean Maurice Boyer, Manager -- Corporate Sports Marketing, added.
"We are proud to associate our company, including the Kleene, Cottonelle, Scott, and Huggies brands with Brewco," Boyer continued. "We know from our experience with Brewco that each employee will effectively represent our company as they demonstrate a respect for our brands, our customers, and our consumers."
"Our partnership with Kimberly-Clark has certainly grown since 2004, and Brewco Motorsports has worked very hard to deliver results for their brands," Clarence Brewer Jr., founder of Brewco Motorsports Inc., added. "Brewco manages the Kimberly-Clark nationwide show car program as well as trackside marketing displays at selected events, and these programs have created valuable exposure opportunities for our overall motorsports marketing program. We are extremely delighted to continue our relationship with Kimberly-Clark and look forward to increased results in the future."
Brewco Motorsports Inc. is currently in their 12th season of competition in the NASCAR Busch Series. In 2007, drivers Ward Burton, Jason Keller, Jorge Goeters, Bobby East, and Johnny Sauter have driven the #27 Kimberly-Clark Ford Fusion.
