CHARLOTTE, N.C., (May 28, 1999) - Bobby Hillin Racing and sponsor Little Trees have agreed to continue their sponsorship agreement through the May 29 CarQuest 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. The relationship between Hillin and Little Trees began with the May 8 Grand National 200 at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon. During that race weekend, a car sponsored by Little Trees failed to qualify for the NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division event. Hillin, who qualified his unsponsored No. 8 Chevrolet solidly in 10th, struck a single race agreement with Little Trees to carry their decals for the race. Enjoying their association with the Midland, Texas, native, Little Trees extended their sponsorship of Hillin to Saturday's CarQuest 300. The No. 8 Chevrolet will be painted bright yellow with Little Trees logos adorning the car. "Little Trees is excited about being on Bobby Hillin's car for the race at Charlotte," said Alvin Fadden of Little Trees. "Bobby's a competitor who wants to win. He's an excellent representative for our company." Hillin's team is owned in part by U.S. Congressman Robin Hayes and Major League Baseball players Andy Benes, Gary Gaetti, Hal Morris, Pete Schourek and Danny Sheaffer.
