After an accident relegated the #10 to a 42rd place finish in Las Vegas, the FreedomRoads team is ready to roll the dice again and concentrate on improving on its point's position. Hoping for better luck than he's seen so far this season, Andretti's focus is on bringing home a top-ten finish in Atlanta and secure the team safely in the top-30 in owners points.
Andretti is a former pole-sitter at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He took the green flag first at the Primestar 500 in March 1998.
The #10 is currently 31st in owner point standings and Andretti sits 26th in driver point standings and fifth in the Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year standings.
In 21 Nextel Cup starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Andretti 45 laps and completed 88.9% of all the laps possible.
Andretti's average start in Atlanta is 22.4 and his average finish is 24.6.

Saturday's Nicorette 300 will be Andretti's first start at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the Busch Series, but he has 21 Nextel Cup starts on the Georgia 1.54-mile already under his belt.
ANDRETTI ON THE NICORETTE 300 AND ATLANTA
"I like Atlanta Motor Speedway but it's one of those tracks where you hold your breath during qualifying and just hold it to the mat. The race is more like dirt track racing. I think everyone likes to race there but no one likes to qualify there. It's a real nail biter and inside the car you are just holding on!"
