SCOTT RIGGS-10-Nestle Nesquik Ford Taurus (Finished 4th)
COMMENT ON THE WINSTON CUP DRIVERS COMPETING IN THE BUSCH SERIES.
"I think that Michael said the exact same thing. I think that I told him I wish he would show me the line. I think just experience showed here. Me and my crew chief Harold Holly, we were sitting over the Nesquik Ford today and we were talking that even though Michael was starting deep in the field, the last thing Harold told me was the 99 will be against the wall and be a factor to win this race before the race is over. Sure enough, right against the wall and my spotter even said, "just hang in there, you're running second. Just hand in there because if Michael gets about another inch, he'll hit the wall.' But, of course, he's done it enough not to do that. Everybody keeps asking us about the Winston Cup guys running against us in the Busch Series, they can only make me better. The day that they're all in the field and I can still be able to do those donuts in victory lane, that's what makes victory lane so sweet because you know that you've outrun the best. All I can do is be fortunate that I've got guys like Michael and Joe, and all of the guys that are running the Busch races because I get to learn from them. I get to have good, hard clean racing. I get to race door to door with them and don't have to worry about those guys doing anything stupid or chopping me off. I don't have a problem with it. I just think it helps me learn."
