"It would be really cool to get Joe Gibbs Racing its first Nationwide Series win at Bristol this weekend. This team has been so strong at all of the tracks on the schedule it's only a matter of time before we get to Victory Lane there too. I learned a lot in my first Nationwide start there last year. I spun in qualifying and didn't get a good starting spot, but we had a strong GameStop Toyota in the race and passed a lot of cars. We should be even better this time around. That place is a different animal. The learning curve is pretty steep, but it's still short track racing and that's what I grew up doing."
"I can remember the first time I watched a race at Bristol on TV. I was young, but I could tell that it would be a fun place to race. Then you go race there for the first time and you're like, 'holy cow!' Television doesn't do it justice. There is so much going on there every lap, it's a blast to race there. It's amazing that they can put all of those people around a half-mile track. There is just nowhere that compares to Bristol."
* Logano started 38th and finished 16th in the 2008 fall race at Bristol. The improvement of 22 positions was second only to the race winner.
* The No. 20 JGR Toyota started second in this race last season.
* The No. 20 JGR Toyota has competed in 14 Nationwide Series events at Bristol, garnering four top-5 and nine top-10 finishes.
* Logano has made one other start at the Bristol Motor Speedway. It came in the USAR Pro Cup Series in 2005.
* Halo Wars is available exclusively for the Xbox 360 and can be purchased at any local GameStop location.
Huntersville, N.C. -- Joey Logano and the No. 20 GameStop Toyota team will be back at the track this weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway after a three week hiatus.
Logano and the crew are anxious to get back to racing after a solid, third-place effort at the Auto Club (CA) Speedway last month. Were it not for damage to the nose of the No. 20 Toyota in that race that affected the aerodynamics of the car, Logano would have been a true contender to win the race.
Racing at the Bristol Motor Speedway is less about aerodynamics and more about preparing yourself to go to battle for 300 laps. It is sometimes called "full contact racing." And for good reason. BMS, with its towering grandstands and 165,000 spectators, is a modern-day Roman Coliseum. This weekend, Joey Logano and the No. 20 GameStop Toyota will have extra firepower in their arsenal. Halo Wars, the newest title in the wildly-popular video game franchise, will adorn Logano's chariot in the Scotts Turf Builder 300.
