CONCORD, N.C. (September 10, 2013) - After a dominating performance during last week's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Richmond, Michael Annett and the No. 43 Pilot Travel Centers team are anxious to return to Chicagoland Speedway. The team tested at the track last month and feels they are in a good position to repeat their top-five performance from the July 2012 race.

Annett has seven starts at the mile-and-a-half track with one top-five and three top-10 finishes. It will be the second visit to Chicagoland for the NNS this season.

Comments from the No. 43 Pilot Travel Centers Ford Mustang driver Michael Annett:

"We had a really good mile-and-a-half program last year, and we ran really well at Chicago so I'm hoping that we can get back to where we left off last year. I think we have a really good start heading into the weekend. We've had really good cars these past few weeks, and I have a good feeling about this weekend too.

"We had really high expectations coming into Chicago in July but kind of struggled throughout most of the race. We were able to come here to test a few weeks ago, and I think we found some things that will make us better. We seemed to find a lot of speed and were able to build some good notes."

Comments from Crew Chief Philippe Lopez on Chicago:

"We tested in Chicago a few weeks ago, and any time that you get more practice time is good. It's just more at bats, and it just makes you better. Usually, you go into a race weekend and get two hours to practice, and we got a good 16 hours in so I feel like we're ready for this weekend. We found a few things Michael really seemed to like and respond to, and we got good speed out of it. There were other Nationwide cars at the test, and we were really happy with our speed relative to theirs. Although, you have to get to the real weekend to see how you're going to rank up, but I think we're going to be a lot better than the first time we went to Chicago. "

Chassis History:

Lopez and the No. 43 Pilot Travel Centers team prepared chassis 752 for this weekend. This chassis was most recently ran at Indianapolis Motor Speedway earlier this year, earning a top-10 finish before testing at Chicago last month.
