Is it more motivational for the team to win the final race of the season? "Well, it's always big to win, first of all. That's what we go to the race track each week to do -- win. But, it 's nice for the guys to walk around the shop in the winter time with their chests bowed out. Every week the winner is a winner for a week, and the next week there's another winner. Heading into the off-season, we get to enjoy the last win for two, almost three months. It's important for the folks back at Germain Racing and it's important to everyone involved with our sponsor, Copart. I hope we can head into this off-season with the same kind of pride that we had after last year's Homestead victory."

Why do you like finishing the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway? "To finish off the season in Homestead is awesome because of the environment. I've gone up to South Beach a few times when we're down in Homestead for the last race, and it's always fun to go and people watch. There are thousands of people out riding bikes and rollerblading up and down the boardwalk right on the beach. Besides the food, the beach is the second best reason to end the season in Homestead. I love any chance I get to go back to Florida and spend time with my family, because between the races in Daytona and Miami it's only a couple hours drive for my family to come from Tampa."
