Tifft has also signed on to drive for two following races at Dover and Charlotte Motor Speedway, the team has confirmed to Motorsport.com.

Tifft, 19, competed in 12 races in the Camping World Truck Series last season and finished in the top 10 five times. This season, Tifft has three starts in the No. 24 JGL Racing Young Guns Toyota in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

The Hinckley, Ohio native has 15 starts in the truck series with six top 10s. His best result was eighth — four times.

Scott Zipadelli will continue on as crew chief for the No. 11 Toyota. Most recently, Zipadelli worked with Ben Kennedy. Kennedy and Red Horse Racing parted ways last week. Kennedy is still looking to secure a full-time ride for the remainder of 2016.

“I”m excited to work with Matt,” Zipadelli said. “I like to work with young drivers — new talent. It allows you no to have any preconceived notions and try a lot of different things. Young drivers aren’t set in their ways and don't have a particular style you have to cater to.

“I think some of these newer setups and the way the races play out, I think it will be exciting if we can get Matt comfortable in our trucks and hopefully, he’ll bring a little excitement to the team, too. A little personality, a little energy is always exciting. I think a change is good. I think it will be good for the team and we’re looking forward to going to Kansas.”
