Lagasse Jr. on Texas: "From what I hear Texas is fast -- bad fast. I have never raced at Texas. I have been told it is similar to Charlotte in speed and we raced there a few weeks ago. I have talked with Timothy about the track and he said it will take a few laps to learn the layout of the track, but after that you just hang on for a wild ride. The biggest challenge about being a rookie is heading to so many tracks you have no experience on. I am lucky because I have great teammates to lean on. I will spend this week doing some research on Texas and watching last year's race. I am confident we will be good to go once I get a few laps under my belt in practice."
Crew Chief Randy Seals on Texas: "Texas is a little bit faster than Charlotte, although I don't see how we can hardly go any faster than everyone ran at Charlotte, but we have been picking up the speeds at every racetrack we have gone to this year. We head into Texas with a challenge of having to qualify for the race on time. Speed will be very important. I have all the confidence in the world in Arrington Engines and Scott Lagasse Jr. It is not a situation we enjoy being in, but it is one we can overcome."
