"When I was here in the spring, I tested just before that. I had the same truck that I have here today, and I wrecked it in that test, so when we came back we didn't have a truck that was as good as the one I crashed in the test, so we were kind of stuck there. That was a terrible night for us, but tomorrow night should be a lot better. Our World Financial Group Ford F-150 is really good. We only missed the pole by a little bit. I think that's about the closest that we've come time-wise. We've been second before, but I think time-wise, we were as close as we've come. Our truck is good, and hopefully we'll be there at the end and somewhere contending for the win."

"We qualified fourth at Atlanta, so we were up front most of the day and running in the top five all day long and wrecked there at the start-finish line at the checkered flag. We finished sixth, but we killed that truck. It's certainly a bonus to start up front. You don't have to get back in traffic. The trucks get pretty free when you're side-by-side with another truck, so it's nice to be somewhere in the top five. Generally, those guys get going and get strung out a little bit from the rest of the pack."
