ARIC ALMIROLA, NO. 47 CHEVROLET FEDEX EXPRESS SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 10th:

"We bottomed out real bad there in between one and two and it was a handful. We picked up on our second lap in practice today and we were hoping to do that tonight but we bottomed out so bad that the truck got too loose on that second lap. I think we could have picked up a little more on the second lap.

Its your first time here at Texas, what do you think about the track?

"Its fun, its fast. It's really unbelievable that you can run wide open at a place like this. I've run Talladega and run wide open, but you've got restrictor plates there. There we had much less horsepower, but here you're trying to tame seven hundred and fifty horsepower and its awesome and its fun.

What is your race strategy tomorrow night?

"The main thing is to go out here and run as many laps as I can and get as much experience as I can. I think that is what is going to benefit me and the team the most. I need to make laps and help make myself better."

DAVID STARR, NO. 75 SPEARS MANUFACTURING CHEVROLET SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 9th:

"Yeah, I was pretty pleased with my qualifying lap. I think on the first lap I kind of bound it up a little bit. I let the truck get a little close to the wall there and it got too loose. It's easy to put a lot of wheel to it and get the truck bound up here. On the second lap I let it get close to the wall off of (turn) four and it seemed to work for me on that second lap. We're not going to get the pole or anything with that but I am looking forward to the race tomorrow night. Hopefully we can put this Spears Silverado back in victory lane."

RON HORNADAY, NO. 6 GM GOODWRENCH CHEVROLET SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 18th: "You know what is so cool about this place is that you come out here during the day and you work on your truck and get it handling the best you can. Then you come out here at night and there is just so much grip in the track that it's just unbelievable. The night racing here puts on the best show that I have ever seen in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Its going to be a lot more fun tomorrow night because there will be a lot more rubber down from the Cup and Busch cars. It's going to be a multi-groove track tomorrow night and it's going to be very cool."

I heard you tell your crew chief that the truck is going to race really well.

"Well you know, we don't qualify very well anyway and this truck the last time here we qualified nineteenth or something and we marched right to the front. That's what we are hoping for this weekend. It's probably the best I've felt after qualifying for a while. The truck just stuck so good and we are going to take what we learned today and go out there tomorrow night and give it our best shot.

DENNIS SETZER, NO. 46 CHEVROLET SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 19th;

"It was pretty comfortable during qualifying, we were wide open right there. Unfortunately it wasn't as fast as we need to be. If it will race like that we will be in good shape. The cool temperatures really made a ton of grip in the track and I think the race tomorrow night is going to be very exciting. We've brought a different truck here than the one we tested with and we'll see how that works out for us.

KYLE BUSCH, NO 15 DITECH.COM/LAND LIQUIDATORS SILVERADO, QUALIFIED 4th:

You guys were a little faster than you were in practice today out there tonight. What adjustments did you make?

"You know, the race track gets cooler at night and gets a lot of grip. We did what we needed to do for our race trim. There were just some minor things that we needed to change. From practice today we did some things to give the truck some better turn-ability off the corners."

Is this the same truck that you won Atlanta with last week?

"No, we weren't able to get it back ready for this race. Its definitely a good truck, it's a sister truck to the one we ran last week. It's performing very well and its been good in both practices. I think we were top seven in both of them and now we qualified fourth, so we're really happy with it so far. I'm looking forward to the race, I think we got a good piece that can run up front and that's all that matters."
