Home grown Alva, Florida boy following his dreams in NASCAR driving for Sprint Cup Champion Brad Keselowski in the Brad Keselowski Racing Ford F150.

NASCAR, truck series driver Ross Chastain will be piloting the #19 for Brad Keselowski Racing during the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Season beginning at Daytona International Speedway for the NextEra-Energy-Resources 250. Chastain made a name for himself during the 2012 NCWTS season driving for his sponsor, the National Watermelon Association in the "Watermelon Truck" and had the Watermelon Queens passing out Watermelon in the garage area throughout the season. Former Daytona 500 Winner, and SPEED commentator Michael Waltrip also took notice of his talent and gave him well deserved props during the truck series races as well.

During the 2012 season, Ross was fortunate enough to have caught the eye of Sprint Cup Series Champion Brad Keslowski, who saw more than just a kid who was struggling to drive with an under funded budget during his first season in NASCAR. Although Chastain was plagued with seven DNF's from mechanical and motor issues, Keslowski took note of the 3rd place finish Chastain captured at Bristol and the seven Top-15 place finishes Chastain brought home in his first NASCAR season. For the small town Alva, Florida kid it proved to be enough to land him a ride driving the #19 National Watermelon Association Ford for Brad Keslowski Racing alongside teammate Ryan Blaney for the 2013 season.

"I am pretty excited and feel extremely fortunate to race this season and I love racing in Daytona since Florida is still my home and I will have my family and friends here". Said Chastain. "My little brother Chad just won the Championship at Punta Gorda Speedway in the Rookie Trucks Series, so I am looking forward to him being able to be here in Daytona with me. This Daytona Race weekend is also the 100th Anniversary Weekend of the Watermelon Association so I hope to bring them home a Top-5 finish next weekend."

Chastain will once again have the National Watermelon Association Promotion Board as sponsor for at least 5 races this 2013 NASCAR season, and will be sporting their decals in Daytona. Chastain will also share his seat in the #19 during seven races with his team owner Keselowski during the 2013 season.

Chastain and his younger brother Chad are following in the footsteps of their father Ralph Chastain who once upon a time raced Super Trucks in South Florida, but Ross is the first to make it to the "Big Leagues" in NASCAR, with his brother on the road not far behind.
