#14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford Plans To Strike It Rich In California
Fontana, CA- Rick Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford head to the golden state in search of that elusive win in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the California Speedway in Fontana. The #14 Ford has done everything but win a race this season. In the last nine races the team has finished outside of the top six only once. Included in those finishes are three top three and the remaining finishes being sixth place or better.
The Auto Club 200 at California Speedway is the season ending race for the NCTS. Crawford and the Milwaukee Heavy Duty Crew are poised and ready to finish the season on a winning note. "We have done everything this year except win a race. We have come close on several occasions but came up a little short. We are racing the truck that finished second at Texas. We have the team, and the horsepower. I feel good about this race," stated driver Rick Crawford.
The last nine races of the season have been strong to say the least for the #14 Ford. With the addition of Ernie Elliott horsepower, the missing piece of the puzzle seems to be in place. "Since Ernie Elliott has started supplying the horsepower, the team has been able to showcase our talents. Ernie's engine program completes the package of an already strong race team," commented Crawford. Since Elliott has come on board, the team has been the top finishing Ford F-150 truck in seven of the last nine races. The team has also lead laps in the last six of nine races and led the most laps at the race in Chicago.
Milwaukee Electric Tool has announced that they will not be able return as the primary sponsor of the #14 Ford next year. The company does plan to be involved with the team next year in some level of sponsorship. "I would love to win this race for Milwaukee Electric Tool. The company is a first class organization and I am proud to say that they have been our sponsor," stated Crawford.
Crawford and the #14 Milwaukee Electric Tool Ford will take the green flag in The Auto Club 200 at the California Speedway, Saturday November 3, at 4:30 p.m. EST. The event will be telecast live on ESPN and broadcast live on MRN Radio.
