Chase On Richmond:
Chase is coming off a solid 20th place finish two weeks ago at Bristol. Montgomery looks to build on some momentum as the season enters into a tough stretch of four races that span across the country in consecutive weeks.
"I am really excited about finally getting the opportunity to race at Richmond. The track looks like a lot of fun and the truck race is always a great show. We have been pretty good at these tracks that I have never been to before and I think this week will be the same. It will be very important to get the set-up on the chassis and get this #8 Herbalife DODGE running strong very quickly. If we get the handle of the truck and I adapt to the track like I expect; then we will be in for a strong day."
#8 DODGE at Richmond:
Chase will be racing the truck named "Chunky" this week. This will be the fifth race of the season for "Chunky" and it has turned out to be one of Chase's favorite trucks out of the BHR2 stable. The truck was raced last at Bristol and before that at Gateway, Memphis and Milwaukee. "Chunky" has been strong everywhere the team has taken it and this week should be no different.
Chase and the BHR2 team will once again be joined by sponsor - Herbalife - this week at Richmond. The team debuted the sponsor last time out at Bristol with the now popular green paint scheme on the #8 DODGE. Look for the green #8 truck again this week as the 20-year-old rookie eyes another strong run for Herbalife and its distributors across the country.
