AVONDALE, Ariz. - Cory Kruseman will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut Friday, November 8 at the Phoenix International Raceway, starting 32nd in the Silverado 150. Kruseman earned the position in qualifying for the race held Thursday, November 7.

"We went out so early and we knew our time was going to be close," Kruseman said. "By the time qualifying was over, I had chewed off all my fingernails and was thinking about starting on my toenails!"

The fastest 32 trucks were locked into the field. The balance of the lineup was set using NASCAR provisional procedures. Kruseman's entry was making its 2002 debut, meaning the sprint-car racing veteran had to either qualify in on time or miss the race.

"Kevin Cram and all the SealMaster Racing guys did a great job putting this deal together," Kruseman said. "To go from never being in a truck to making this field in less than a week is a testament to their work. I'm looking forward to the race tomorrow."

Kruseman's fastest lap in the No. 88 Agromin/Menards Chevrolet was 29.291 seconds (122.905 miles per hour). Rick Crawford won the pole at the desert mile (28.053/128.329).

The Silverado 150 is slated to start at 3 p.m. EST/noon PST Friday, November 7. The race will be telecast live on ESPN and broadcast on the radio affiliates of the Motor Racing Network (MRN).
