TJ Bell Looks for Continued Success in Nashville
* Bell at Nashville...The Toyota Tundra 200 will mark TJ Bell's third Camping World Truck Series start at Nashville Superspeedway. In 2003, Bell started 27th and finished 26th. In 2008 he improved his performance by starting 15th and finishing 19th.
* #11 Team Building Momentum... After a bumpy start to the season, Bell and his #11 Red Horse Racing team cleaned the slate before Kentucky so they could start the season over with a fresh start. It seemed to have worked for the team. Bell earned a top-10 starting spot in Kentucky. This past weekend at ORP, Bell started 13th and finished 15th. They are looking forward to building on this momentum at Nashville Superspeedway and get Bell another top-10 finish.
* Bell visits Music City...Before taking to the track on Friday; Bell will be spending the day Thursday taking part in three special events in Nashville. He will join other Camping World Truck Series drivers in a visit to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. He will also get a taste of the country music flavor with a visit to Wild Horse Saloon for another meet and greet. He will end the night by taking part in a concert at Cadillac Ranch with good friends, "The Roys," a country music singing duo.
TJ Bell on racing at Nashville Superspeedway "I really like Nashville. I love racing on concrete tracks so I'm looking forward to this weekend. Nashville is a fun track and it should really make for a great race for the fans. We are taking the same truck we ran in Kentucky. It ran really well until the motor blew up so I think it will be a good truck for us in Nashville. It's always fun to go to Nashville. The city has an electric atmosphere and lots to do. I'm exited to be participating in the hospital visit and getting to see a couple country concerts. It's going to be a really great time."
Crew Chief Rick Gay on Nashville Superspeedway "We are taking the truck we raced at Kentucky and we have really hit on something the last couple of weeks that TJ likes the feel of. I'm excited to get to Nashville and keep working on that. This team really deserves good finishes and we are closer than ever to making that happen each and every week."
Equipment Information The #11 Red Horse Racing team will compete with chassis # 93 in the Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. This is the same chassis that Bell raced at Kentucky where he qualified 10th and finished 23rd as the result of a blown motor. This is also the same truck he finished fifth with in California earlier this year.
