Timothy Peters Looks To Play The Guitar At Nashville Superspeedway
* Peters Returns To One Of His Favorite Tracks...The Nashville 200 will mark Timothy Peters sixth start at Nashville Superspeedway. In five previous events, he has earned two top-five finishes. He also earned his first career pole at Nashville 1.33-mile D-shaped oval. In five races, Peters has never started outside of the top-13.
* Tight Points Battle...Peters is currently in the fourth position in the Camping World Truck Series driver point standings. Only nine points separate Peters from the third position. Peters has also been eating away at the points leader; he is now just 202 points back and still in striking distance.
Timothy Peters on racing at Nashville Superspeedway "I'm really excited to get back to Nashville. It's the site of my first pole and we started from the second spot in the spring race. I really love that place because of the concrete surface and how much success I've had there over the years. Nashville just really suits my driving style. I would like to win there more than any other track right now. I hope we will be there in Victory Lane on Saturday night and I can finally hoist that guitar over my head."
Jeff Hensley on racing at Nashville Superspeedway "Nashville has always been a favorite place of mine. We are going back there this weekend to get the win that got away from us in the spring. We are headed to some tracks in the next few weeks that I think are going to be really good for us. We just keep plugging away and we are racking up the top-10's. This points battle is far from over and we need to stay in striking distance."
Equipment Information Timothy Peters will compete with chassis #138, affectionately dubbed "coon dog," in the Nashville 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. This is the same chassis Peters piloted at Nashville in the spring where he started second and finished fourth.
