CARMICHAEL AT NASHVILLE: Ricky Carmichael will be making his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Nashville Superspeedway in the Nashville 200. He last visited the track in the Spring of 2010 when he began the race in the 19th-position and finished in 15th.
CARMICHAEL ON TRUCKS: Carmichael's last race came at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania, where he finished in the 19th-position. So far this season, Carmichael has scored one top-five (Dover) and three top-10 finishes (Atlanta, Martinsville and Iowa) in the first 13 races of the 2010 season.
CARMICHAEL ON COMPETING AT NASHVILLE: "I'm really excited to get back to Nashville. I like the track a lot and I feel like we did pretty well there in the Spring so I definitely feel like I can improve on my finish. It's going to be a great weekend for me because it's one of the few chances I get to do both moto and NASCAR events in one weekend -- I'll be out at Loretta Lynn's before I head to the track, so I'm pretty pumped about that."
BEHIND THE WHEEL: Crew chief Mike Fritts has chosen chassis No.008 for Carmichael to pilot at Nashville. This Monster Energy Chevrolet was last on track at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis and had previously seen action at Martinsville and Michigan.
MEET THE DRIVER: NASCAR fans will have the chance to meet Carmichael when he takes part in an autograph session on Saturday at 2 pm at Nashville Super Speedway at the Expo area outside of Gate 3.
