BUESCHER AT NASHVILLE... James Buescher has made four career starts at Nashville -- one in the NASCAR Nationwide Series in the Spring of 2010, two in the Camping World Truck Series and one in the ARCA Series. A crash relegated him to a 31th-place finish in his Nationwide appearance, and he finished in 17th and 13th-position in his two Camping World Truck Series starts. Fans at the 2008 ARCA race saw Buescher finish in the 17th-position.
BUESCHER ON COMPETING AT NASHVILLE: "I can't wait to get to Nashville this week. I'm always excited to get to the track, but we've got such a special deal going on this weekend with the Rhythm and Race Festival and Make-A-Wish of Middle Tennessee, so it really means a lot to know that you're racing to help make a difference in the lives of kids. I'll have a special teammate this weekend as well -- Luke helped design my paint scheme and he's going to be hanging out with the crew all weekend, so it's definitely going to be a good time."
CHASSIS INFORMATION... Crew chief Michael Shelton has chosen Turner Motorsports chassis No. 17 for Buescher to run at Nashville this Saturday. This particular Chevrolet has only seen competition once at O'Reilly Raceway Park where Buescher scored a fifth-place finish.
MEET THE DRIVER... NASCAR fans will have the chance to meet Buescher when he takes part in an autograph session on Saturday at 2 pm at Nashville Super Speedway at the Expo area outside of Gate 3.
LOOKING BACK... Buescher made his career debut at Pocono last weekend and came one position shy of receiving his 10th top-10 finish of the 2010 season by finishing in 11th-place. The 50-lap event only allowed Buescher to make one pit stop for adjustments on his Wolf Pack Rentals Chevrolet. He battled at the lead of the field with Cup Series regulars and brought home a very respectable finish in his first visit to the "tricky triangle."
MOST POPULAR DRIVER... NASCAR has created an online ballot for the fans to vote for their favorite driver for the Most Popular Driver Award. Fans are allowed to vote once a day, until the polls close on November 12, 2010. The results of the balloting will be announced at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series banquet at the end of the season. Go to www.nascar.com to cast your vote!
