Martinsville, Virginia- (April 10th, 2000)-Most of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series teams were unhappy to see the race rained out on Saturday, but not the Dana Racing Team. They may have a little advantage going into the Monday running of the NAPA 250 at Martinsville Speedway. Both Joe Ruttman and Bobby Hamilton have wins on a Monday at the historic Martinsville Speedway. In 1995, Ruttman went to victory on a Monday after rain postponed the first Craftsman Truck Series race at the track. On that day, Ruttman was running third when leaders Geoff Bodine and Mike Skinner got together. The ensuing accident gave the victory to Ruttman. In 1998, Hamilton won the Monday running of the Goodys 500 from the pole. On that day, Hamilton lead the most laps and dominated the event. Hopes are high that the rain is a good sign for the Dana team, which will start the event from the second and sixth positions in today's event. "Hey, if the rain will give us a better chance to win, then so be it," said Ruttman. "I think we would have been good on Saturday and I think we'll be good today. This is a great team and we've been running good every week." The only change for the team will be the pit crew on the No. 4 Dana team for Hamilton. If the race would have run on Saturday, the Kodak Winston Cup Series team would have pit the truck. Now a decision on a pit crew will be made just before the event.

The NAPA 250 at Martinsville Speedway, delayed by rain on Saturday, will be televised taped delay Monday afternoon on ESPN at 1:30PM Eastern Time and broadcast on MRN radio live at 10:45 AM Eastern Time.
