Timothy Peters Feels Right At Home At The Milwaukee Mile

* Impressive First Outing With New Team...Timothy Peters ran his first race behind the wheel of his Red Horse Racing machine last weekend at Michigan International Speedway. He piloted his way from the back of the field, due to post qualifying adjustments, all the way to the top-five and held his own with the leaders. Peters brought home an eighth place finish and gained two spots in the Camping World Truck Series driver point standings. He moved from 19th to 17th.

* New to Milwaukee...Not to Flat, Short Track Racing...Peters has only one Camping World Truck Series start at The Milwaukee Mile but he is no stranger to the dynamics of the track. In 2006, Peters started 29th and battled his way to a sixth place finish. He attributes that success to a lifetime of flat, short track racing. Peters grew up racing on tracks like Milwaukee so he is comfortable on the Wisconsin one-mile oval.

* Peters Tries Out His Bowling Skills...Gearing up for an action packed day at the track on Friday, Peters plans to warm up at a slower pace on Thursday night. He and his crew chief Chad Kendrick will be participating in the sixth annual Bowling Bonanza presented by The Milwaukee Mile and Toyota. Here's hoping for a strike!

Strutmasters.com On Board... Strutmasters was born in owner Chip Lofton's converted dairy barn in 1999. It provides consumers an affordable alternative to expensive and problematic air ride suspension systems found on luxury vehicles. The company ships suspension conversion kits to thousands of auto repair shops, parts stores and dealers across North America. Retail customers can order by visiting the Strutmasters.com website.

Timothy Peters on racing at The Milwaukee Mile "I'm really excited to get back to Milwaukee. In 2006 we ran really well and got a sixth place finish. I love flat, short track racing. That's what I came from. I also really like night racing so this race has the best of both worlds for me. We had a good week in Michigan and I'd like to get another good finish for Strutmasters.com and Red Horse Racing."

Crew Chief Chad Kendrick on The Milwaukee Mile "I'm ready to get there. Timothy has only been there once but he finished sixth so that gives us a lot of confidence. Milwaukee is like a big Martinsville and that is Timothy's home track and a place where he always runs well. I am so proud of my guys for what we accomplished last weekend. To join a new team in the middle of the week and have everyone work so well together and come home in the top-10 is really something to be proud of. I'm excited to see what this team can accomplish this season."

Equipment Information Timothy Peters will compete with chassis # 137 in the Copart 200 at The Milwaukee Mile. This is the same chassis Johnny Benson raced at Martinsville earlier this season where he qualified third and finished fourth.
