Mark Green/Red Man Racing Notes

Mark Green is making his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut driving the Brewco Motorsports No. 37 Red Man Chevrolet in the Sears Diehard 200 at the Milwaukee Mile. The Owensboro, Kentucky resident will pull double duty, driving the Brewco Motorsports No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet in Sunday's Sears Auto Center 250 NASCAR Busch Series race. Last week, David Green, driver of the No. 96 CAT Chevrolet in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, piloted the No. 37 Chevrolet to an eighth place finish at Nazareth Speedway in the first race for the fledgling truck series team. Located in Central City, Kentucky, Brewco Motorsports will enter eight NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events in 1997 with David Green, Mark Green and Scot Walters alternating driving duties.

Scot Walters will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut on July 12 at the Louisville Motor Speedway, his home race track, in the Brewco Motorsports No. 37 Red Man Chevrolet. In preparation for the event, Walters will test one of Mark Green's No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo NASCAR Busch Series cars at the 0.4375 mile speedway next week. The focus of the test session is to give Walters a feel for driving a 3300 pound race car on the tight race track.

Friedman Tobacco & Candy Wholesaler, with locations in the greater Milwaukee area, is an associate sponsor on the No. 37 Red Man Chevrolet for the Sears Diehard 200 at the Milwaukee Mile .
