Starr on Racing at The Milwaukee Mile:
"Milwaukee is definitely a unique track, and I'm not sure that I've really figured it out just yet. It hasn't been one of my best tacks in the past. I say it's a unique shaped track because of how flat it is. Because it is so flat, your truck really has to turn good in the center. In the past, we just couldn't make my trucks turn good in center. But being with a new team, I'm really looking forward to Milwaukee this year. From the short tracks we have been to already this year, I can tell you that my Red Horse Racing Toyota has always turned good in center. So I'm excited to be going to Milwaukee, and see if I can finally conquer the Milwaukee track with the help of my Red Horse Racing Team."
Career at The Milwaukee Mile:
Starr has four career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts at the Milwaukee Mile, with a career-best finish of sixth-place in 2002.
Starr On The Competitive Nature of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series:
Starr and the Red Horse Racing Team are currently ninth in points -- just 26 points out of fifth place.
"I think that says everything about this Series when there are so few points between each position. The competition level of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series continues to impress me. I would say we have 25 trucks that can win any given weekend. The points just make you realize how on top of your game the entire team has to be week in and week out. A good day and you may gain a spot in the points. But one bad day at the track, and you can drop three spots pretty easily. I just think it shows how competitive this Series is, and I am happy to be a part of it."
Starr On His Red Horse Racing Team And Their Accomplishments This Season:
"We feel like we have a lot more depth to our racing team already than we did at the start of the season. I am really proud of what we have accomplished so far this season. We know that we have struggled on big tracks, but Jamie Jones, the team and myself found some stuff at Michigan that we think will really help our speedway program in the coming weeks. This weekend, we're looking forward to Milwaukee and having a good run there. We're looking forward to the rest of the season, too. We've been a contending team at a lot of races, but we haven't raced to our expectations just yet. I think we're going to continue to grow and get better every week."
* Starr will be making his 151st career start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series this week.
* Starr has four career victories (Las Vegas -- 2002, St. Louis and Phoenix -- 2004, Martinsville -- 2006).
