Mike Bliss won his first Craftsman Truck Series event since 1999. Bliss now has eight career wins, his first in the No. 16 Chevy.

"These guys are awesome. They were working really, really hard. It feels awesome, it's been awhile since I've been here (in victory lane)."

Pole sitter Jason Leffler led the majority of the race and on lap 111, barely missed spinning car that brought out the caution which cost him the race. Under the yellow flag the field took to the pits and Mike Bliss came out with the lead.

Leffler ended the race second followed by last year's Raybestos Rookie of the Year, Travis Kvapil in the Addington owned No. 60. Rounding out the top five; Gateway winner Terry Cook in fourth and David Starr who led the points entering Pikes Peak, finished fifth. Starr is now second in the points, one point behind new leader, Mike Bliss.
