TERRY COOK POST RACE QUOTES -

"When NASCAR dropped the green for the Sears 200, we were struggling at the beginning because the truck was extremely loose," said Cook. "It was the loosest it had been since we got to Michigan International Speedway. I was on the radio hoping for a yellow to make a stop and we did get a caution luckily. We made the right adjustments on the Power Stroke Diesel/Oil Mate Ford during the first stop. We came in and did everything right. We got it tightened up which allowed us to come up through the field and break into the Top-5 and run there for a while. We thought we really had something for them. At that point over a long run we started to get tight off. We then needed to make adjustments to free the truck up off. We made some adjustments that got the truck loose in and thru the middle again. We were teeter tottering on where the truck needed to be. You just can't drive a truck loose here at Michigan and be fast. We ended up with a ninth-place finish again this week."

"Our next NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race takes place at IRP where our sponsor Power Stroke Diesel is the title sponsor," said Cook. "Winning the Power Stroke Diesel 200 last season from pole position was big for our truck program. IRP is one of the neatest premiere short tracks in the country. Power Stroke Diesel went from a title race sponsor at IRP to being a full blown NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series sponsor with the No. 29 K-Automotive Ford Michigan based team. It was extremely important to International Truck and Engine Corporation, manufacturer of the popular Power Stroke Diesel Engine, to take the initial steps to becoming a full-time NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series truck sponsor. With Power Stroke Diesel and now EMP Oil Mate's support we are ready to get back to Victory Lane. We are looking forward to seeing representatives from both companies in the stands at IRP."
