Kile Captures Top-10 Finish at Michigan

Mooresville, N.C. (June 15, 2009)-Brad Keselowski Racing driver Mikey Kile, of Westlake, La., landed a top-10 finish at Michigan Speedway in the Racing for Wildlife 200.

Kile tested his No. 29 Greased Lightning Cleaning Products Chevrolet during the open test session at the superspeedway, posting the fifth-fastest time. However, inclement weather hampered Kile's qualifying efforts once again as rain washed out Menards Pole qualifying for the third race in a row. The field received about 15 minutes of practice prior to the event, and Kile posted eighth-fastest time. But with the field being set by owners points, Kile started the event in 22nd position.

"We had a great car, we were running next to the wall," said Kile. "Not being able to qualify is really hurting us."

All in all it was a good day for Kile, he ran as high a second and brought his Greased Lightning Cleaning Products Chevrolet in at sixth place.

Next on tap for the BKR team is a stop later this week at The Milwaukee Mile, for the running of the Copart 200 where Kile will compete in his second start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Kile and the BKR team really want to see nothing but sunny skies at the next race.
