BOBBY HAMILTON (No. 04 Monroe Dodge Superstore Dodge Ram) -- Takes Points Lead by 5 points after 3rd-place finish
"We never made a qualifying run in practice. We knew we would qualify poorly, but it drafted good and we knew it would be good in race trim. We were a little concerned about tire wear. We went up there one time and got off sync. We slipped back and took care of that set of tires. We got behind, but we got to the front again. I wanted to get in the top 15 and then I wanted to slow down and take care of it and go from there. I went up and led and we'd been wearing out the right rear tire. I wanted to lead a lap and then fall back to see what we could get at the end. I haven't had but 20 bonus points all year, so I needed those five. After the last two or three weeks, I'm real satisfied with fourth place. We've had a loose wheel, a bad wheel, a flat tire, we got in a crash one time. You can't control stuff like that. It's just part of racing."
TED MUSGRAVE (No. 1 Mopar Dodge Ram) -- Finished 28th, dropped to third in standings, 24 points behind Hamilton
"It blew up big time. We were in position to win. I knew Kevin Harvick was going to go low through one and two. I kept it wound up on the high side and I was catching up with Dennis (Setzer). I was going to mess him up on the last lap down the backstretch. I'd been playing cat and mouse with him. I had a plan. I don't know if it was going to work or not. I'm not saying I was going to win the race, but I was going to make it awful tough for him to win it, but you can't win it if the motor isn't running. We dropped to third in the points, so I guess we're going to have to rebound. Dennis' truck would accelerate off the corner better than mine. I was catching him everywhere else. Three races in a row now have terrible for us. I can't point any fingers. All we can do is put our heads down and keep trying."
JIMMY SPENCER (No. 2 Team ASE Dodge Ram) -- Finished 14th, sixth in standings, 119 points behind leader
"I had the biggest push at the end of a run. I was shocked. We led for awhile and we pitted and it was so tight on that set of tires. It got a lot cooler. We missed the setup enough to make it too tight."
BRENDAN GAUGHAN (No. 77 Jasper Engines & Transmissions Dodge Ram) -- Finished 11th
"We ended up with a great finish for what we brought. That's a top 15, and the guys are pretty happy about that. I had a chance for a top 10. It was three wide when the caution came out. It was a good run. We're going to have better Dodge Rams now. We're going to fix our stuff and get better. Steve had a rocket ship today. He was passing cars left and right. He was on a mission. He's a flat-out driver. He's got to catch a break soon."
