MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Steve Portenga and the No. 39 Roto-Rooter Chevrolet Silverado will start 32nd in the O'Reilly Auto Parts 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Memphis Motorsports Complex Saturday, June 22. Portenga earned that starting position in qualifying for the race held Friday, June 21.

"We're not at all happy with that effort," Portenga said. "The good news
is we're in the race. The bad news is we're starting in the back.

"I think this is a track where you can get from the back to the front, and if I get there I think I can stay there. We'll have to stay out of trouble. If we can do that, we'll have a chance at a top-15 finish for the Roto-Rooter Chevrolet."

Portenga has finished in the top-15 in three of the last four truck events. He's raced among the top-15 in five of six starts this season.

Forty-six trucks attempted to make the O'Reilly Auto Parts 200 field. The starting lineup is 36 trucks. Jason Leffler won the pole with a lap of 22.887 seconds (117.971 miles per hour). Portenga's best lap was 24.028 (112.369).

The O'Reilly Auto Parts 200 is at noon CDT Saturday, June 22. The race will be telecast live on ESPN and broadcast via radio on the affiliates of the Motor Racing Network.
